A New Adventure, The Same KSC Service
Hong Island • Phang Nga Bay • James Bond Island • Guided Kayaking • Maximum 15 Guests
A Faster Boat, Not a Rushed Tour
Explore Hong Island, James Bond Island and the spectacular scenery of Phang Nga Bay on an early-start small-group speedboat tour from Krabi. With a maximum of just 15 guests, this full-day adventure is designed to cover more distance without turning the day into a rushed sightseeing tour.
We keep our speedboat tours deliberately small — smaller groups mean more room to relax, a more personal experience onboard, and a level of comfort you won’t find on the bigger, mass-market boats.
Rather than running the same fixed route every single day, we plan around the tides, sea conditions and group size, looking for the quietest way to experience each stop rather than sticking to a rigid schedule. It means more time enjoying the places we visit and less time waiting around in crowds — and no two days out with us look quite the same.
Hong Island, Krabi
Our first stop is normally Hong Island, with our departure timed so we’re usually among the first boats to arrive before the main crowds build.
This is your first chance to get in the water — swim, snorkel along the reef, or simply relax on the beach while it’s still at its quietest.
For those who want to explore a little more, the climb up to Hong Island’s viewpoint rewards you with sweeping views across the Andaman Sea and the surrounding limestone karsts.
Hong Lagoon
From Hong Island, we cruise through Hong Lagoon, a hidden emerald-green lagoon enclosed almost entirely by towering limestone cliffs and accessible through a narrow entrance.
We don’t normally get out of the boat here. Instead, we take a slow, scenic cruise through the lagoon, giving you plenty of time to take photos and enjoy one of Krabi’s most striking natural landmarks before continuing further north.
Koh Hong, Phang Nga Bay — Guided Kayaking
Next up is Koh Hong in Phang Nga Bay — a completely different island from Hong Island in Krabi, where we started the morning.
This stop is pure adventure.
Your local kayak guide paddles you right up against towering limestone cliffs, ducking into hidden sea caves and squeezing through narrow rock passages that open into secluded lagoons you’d never spot from a passing boat.
Above you, the cliffs rise straight out of the water; ahead, the caves swallow the light as you glide deeper inside.
All you have to do is sit back, hold on and take it all in — your guide handles the paddling.
James Bond Island
By mid-morning, we reach James Bond Island, one of the most photographed landmarks in Thailand thanks to its appearance in the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun.
The beach and viewing areas here can become extremely busy throughout the day, so rather than fighting for space on the sand, we enjoy James Bond Island from the water.
We cruise in close for views and photos of the iconic limestone pinnacle, giving you the chance to see one of Phang Nga Bay’s most famous landmarks without joining the queues onshore.
Lunch Near Koh Yao Noi
Around midday, we stop for lunch, choosing our location near Koh Yao Noi based on the tides, conditions and which beaches are quietest that day.
This is a longer stop with time to properly unwind — relax on the sand, take a swim and enjoy lunch before we continue on to the afternoon’s adventure.
A Hidden Stop
From there, we head somewhere we’d rather not spoil.
A narrow gap in the limestone opens into a hidden mangrove forest — one of the quieter, lesser-known corners of Phang Nga Bay that many tours pass straight by.
It’s easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there, which is part of what makes discovering it so special.
A Flexible Final Stop
Where we go from here depends on how the day has unfolded.
Some days it might be a short walk inland to see Big Tree, a genuinely enormous centuries-old tree. On other days, we might choose another swimming or snorkeling stop if the sea conditions are particularly good.
We deliberately leave this final part of the itinerary flexible so the day can work around the group, tides and conditions rather than rushing around simply to tick locations off a list.
Plenty of adventure, plenty of time to relax — in whatever order the day calls for.
After roughly eight hours exploring Hong Island, Phang Nga Bay, James Bond Island and the surrounding islands by speedboat, we’re normally back at the pier around 3pm.
Small group. Big adventure. A faster boat — without the rushed tour.
Duración y hora de la reunión
The boat departs at 7:00 AM and returns around 3:00 PM. Note that our tour is subject to weather and tidal conditions.
