A New Adventure, The Same KSC Service
After more than a decade of running our island cruises in Krabi, we’ve taken everything our guests love about the way we operate and brought it to a completely new adventure. Our James Bond & Hong Island speedboat tour is a new trip for us, but the approach is exactly the same — personal service, experienced local guides, no rushing, and a day built around giving you the best experience rather than simply following the same crowded route as everyone else.
We keep the group deliberately small, giving everyone more room to relax and a more personal experience on board than you’ll find on the bigger, mass-market boats. Rather than running the exact same fixed route every day, we plan around the tides, the conditions and the group, choosing the quietest version of each stop whenever we can. It means more time enjoying the places we visit, and no two days out with us look quite the same.
Hong Island
Every day will start the same with Hong Island. Timed so we’re usually one of the first boats to arrive before the crowds show up. This is your first chance to get in the water — swim, snorkel along the reef, or simply relax on the beach with the sand to yourselves. For those who want to explore a bit more, the climb up to Hong Island’s viewpoint rewards you with sweeping views across the Andaman Sea and the surrounding limestone karsts.
Hong Lagoon
From Hong Island we cruise into Hong Lagoon, a hidden emerald pool enclosed almost entirely by towering limestone cliffs, accessible only through a narrow channel. We don’t get out of the boat here — it’s a slow, scenic lap around by boat, giving you time to take photos of one of Krabi’s most striking natural landmarks before we move on.
Ko Hong Kayaking
Next up is Koh Hong — a different island near James Bond Island, not to be confused with Hong Island where we started the morning. This stop is pure adventure: your guide paddles you right up against towering limestone cliffs, ducking into hidden sea caves and squeezing through narrow rock tunnels that open into secret lagoons you’d never spot from a passing boat. Above you, the cliffs rise straight out of the water; ahead, the caves swallow the light as you glide deeper in. All you have to do is sit back, hold on, and take it in — your guide handles the paddling.
James Bond Island
By mid-morning we reach James Bond Island, one of the most photographed landmarks in Thailand thanks to its starring role in the 007 films. The beach here draws heavy crowds throughout the day, so rather than fighting for space on the sand, we take it in from the water — cruising in close for photos of the iconic limestone pinnacle without the queues.
Lunch Near Koh Yao Noi
Around midday we stop for lunch, choosing our spot near Koh Yao Noi based on the tides and however quiet the beaches happen to be that day. This is a longer stop to properly unwind — relax on the sand, take a swim, and enjoy lunch before we continue on to the afternoon’s stops.
A hidden stop
From there, we head somewhere we’d rather not spoil, where a narrow gap in the limestone opens into a hidden mangrove forest — one of the quieter, lesser-known corners of Phang Nga Bay that most tours never get to. It’s easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there, which is exactly why so few people ever see it.
A Flexible Final Stop
Where we go from here depends entirely on how the day has flowed. Some days it’s a short hike inland to Big Tree, a genuinely massive, centuries-old tree; other days, another snorkelling stop if the conditions are right. We leave this last stretch open on purpose, so the day can flex around the group and the tides rather than rushing to tick off a fixed list — plenty of adventure, plenty of chill, in whatever order the day calls for. We’re back at the pier by around 3pm, having left at 7am.
Duration & Meeting Time
The boat departs at 7:00 AM and returns around 3:00 PM. Note that our tour is subject to weather and tidal conditions.
Hotel Pick-Up:
We pick you up directly from your hotel. Pick-up starts approximately 30–40 minutes before departure, so around 6:20–6:30 AM, depending on your hotel’s location.

Hotel pickup is included free of charge for guests staying in Ao Nang and Ao Nam Mao. Guests staying in the areas below will have a round-trip transfer fee option to purchase after booking:
