With so many island tours to choose from in Krabi, we know it can be hard to decide which one is right for you.

At Krabi Sunset Cruises, we’re all about quality over quantity. Although our traditional Siamese junk is licensed for 40 passengers, we cap our sunset cruise at just 26 guests. That leaves plenty of room to move around, with comfortable sofa seating, a shaded rooftop deck and sunny spots for those who want them. There’s always space to find a quiet corner, take photos without crowds or simply lie back and enjoy the views.

We also believe in giving guests time to actually enjoy each stop. Our itinerary is flexible, so we can adapt to the weather, sea conditions and crowds rather than following a rushed schedule.

Everything you need for the day is on board, from snorkelling gear, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards to a licensed bar, Western-style bathroom and freshwater shower. So you can swim, explore and relax at your own pace before watching the sunset from the deck.

Our 4 Island Sunset Cocktail Cruise includes snorkelling, swimming, paddleboarding and kayaking, with all snorkelling equipment and life jackets provided. We also have anti-fog snorkelling masks, prescription masks for guests who wear glasses and child-sized masks available at no extra cost.

You’ll also enjoy fresh fruit and snacks, free-flowing non-alcoholic drinks and a Thai buffet dinner after sunset.

National park fees, insurance and our experienced guides are all included in the tour price. Alcoholic drinks and cocktails can be purchased separately from our onboard bar.

Our sunset cruise explores the islands around Koh Ya Wa Sam, Koh Si, Chicken Island and Poda Island, before finishing near Phra Nang Beach at Railay for our bioluminescent plankton swim.

We don’t follow exactly the same route every day. Our crew chooses the order of stops based on the weather, sea conditions and how busy different areas are, so we can find the best and calmest places to swim, snorkel and enjoy the islands that day.

Pregnant guests are welcome aboard our Sunset Cruise. Our traditional wooden Siamese junk boat is large and spacious, offering a very different experience from travelling between the islands by speedboat.

However, every pregnancy is different, and getting to and from the main boat involves a transfer by long-tail boat. We recommend considering your own circumstances and seeking medical advice before booking if you’re unsure whether the trip is suitable for you.

Please also be aware that our tour insurance does not provide pregnancy cover, so you will need to ensure you have appropriate personal travel insurance.

Yes! There’s no minimum age for our Sunset Cruise, and we regularly welcome families with children of all ages.

Children can enjoy swimming, snorkelling, exploring the beaches, paddleboarding and kayaking, or simply relaxing on the boat. There’s plenty of space to move around, with comfortable seating, a shaded top deck and sunny areas for those who prefer them.

We provide life jackets in children’s sizes, along with child-sized snorkelling equipment. Our experienced crew are also available to help children feel comfortable and confident in the water.

Children aged 4 to 12 receive our child rate, while infants aged 0 to 3 can join the cruise free of charge.

Alcoholic drinks and cocktails aren’t included in the tour price but are available to purchase from our onboard bar.

You can cancel your Sunset Cruise free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled tour start time.

If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure are subject to our booking terms and conditions.

Depending on the conditions and route on the day, guests can go ashore at Chicken Island or Poda Island.

However, guests that don’t want to visit the beach are welcome to spend the whole tour snorkelling, swimming or just enjoy the scenery from the boat.

Hotel pickup isn’t included in the tour price. Instead, we have two central meeting points, one in Ao Nang and one at Railay Beach, so you can choose whichever is most convenient.

We’ve deliberately chosen not to include shared hotel pickups because they can involve lengthy journeys collecting guests from multiple hotels. Even if you’re staying just five or ten minutes from the meeting point, you could end up spending an hour in a van before the tour even begins.

If you’d prefer to be collected from your hotel, private pickup can be arranged for an additional charge. Just let us know when you book.

We need a minimum of eight guests for our public Sunset Cruise to operate.

If we don’t reach the minimum number for your chosen date, we’ll let you know and offer you the option to move your booking to another available date or receive a full refund. We’ll always try to give you as much notice as possible so you can adjust your plans while you’re in Krabi.
