Our sunset cruise kicks off around 1pm with meeting points in both Aonang and Railay Beach. While the trip follows the spirit of a classic 4 island tour, our route stays flexible each day so we can visit the same beautiful areas while seeking out quieter spots away from the crowds.

We cruise out to the stunning islands off Railay: Ya Wa Sam, Chicken, Si & Poda, where you can jump in for some snorkeling and swimming.

Even if you’re not a strong swimmer or can’t swim at all, we’ve got you covered – our crew will ensure you can still enjoy snorkeling safely and comfortably. Feel like paddling to the beach? We’ve got a kayak for 2 and 6 stand-up paddleboards ready to go.

As the day winds down, we sail back toward the Railay Peninsula, just in time to catch the sunset over the Andaman. After a Thai-buffet style dinner, We finish the evening with a stop at Railay’s Phra Nang Beach, where you can dive in for a magical night time swim with glowing bioluminescent plankton – an unforgettable experience that has to be seen to be believed!

picturesque spots ideal for photography. The snorkeling stops were fantastic, with colorful coral reefs and abundant marine life visible right from the boat. 🐠🌊 As the afternoon progressed, the highlight was definitely the sunset. Watching the golden sun slowly dip below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the sea, was absolutely unforgettable. 🌇 The atmosphere was peaceful and serene, making it a perfect way to unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty. The crew was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, providing useful tips and making sure we were safe throughout the journey. 🛶 The pace was just right – not rushed, allowing plenty of time at each island, yet well-organized. Overall, this sunset cruise and 7 Island Tour is highly recommended for anyone visiting Krabi. It offers the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and stunning views – truly one of the best ways to explore the region. 🌟

A great crew! A great boat! A great experience! Pros: - Great crew! Friendly, attentive, accommodating. More than anything, this sets the trip apart from others (and I've been on a few)! - Pirate-themed boat that doesn't go overboard on the "arrgh!" factor. - Great tour with longer stops than most tours, so you can do several activities (if you want): snorkeling, swimming, beach visit, lounging on the boat, paddle board, etc. - Good dinner, with a variety of spicy/not spicy, normal/vegetarian/vegan, etc. - Quality equipment, like fog-free snorkeling masks, good flippers, newish paddle boards, etc. - Lots of options to lounge: Rooftop, seating, deck pillows. - A unique stop after dark for a bioluminescent experience. - A later start in the day! We were picked up at 1 PM. No early rising required. - Music's not too loud! - Shower to rinse off salt water, if you want. Cons: - There were snacks to keep you going, but I would have liked a few more vegies and fruits at snack time! Summary: After 30+ experiences in Thailand, this is one of the few (if only) I've rated 5 stars.

The boat tour was our holiday highlight for the whole family. We got to snorkel the reef with shoals of fish, sharks, eels and octopus. Paddleboard and kayak, watch the sun set over the ocean and swim in bioluminescent plankton. Plus the food was delicious and they supplied snacks and soft drinks throughout. The cherry on top was the amazing staff, who were friendly, funny and knowledgeable and they were so good with the kids that we all had a fantastic time. Honestly a perfect day.

Also note that in high season (November – April), getting to the junk boat involves a short ride from the beach via our long-tail boat (about 7 mins from Ao Nang and about 2 mins from Railay). Please wear suitable attire for wading through shallow water to get onto the long-tail boat.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our 4 Island Sunset Cocktail Cruise includes snorkelling, swimming, paddleboarding and kayaking, with all snorkelling equipment and life jackets provided. You’ll also enjoy fresh fruit and snacks, free-flowing non-alcoholic drinks and a freshly prepared Thai buffet dinner after sunset.

National park fees, insurance and our experienced guides are all included in the tour price. Alcoholic drinks and cocktails can be purchased separately from our onboard bar.

Our sunset cruise explores the islands around Koh Ya Wa Sam, Koh Si, Chicken Island and Poda Island, before finishing near Phra Nang Beach at Railay for our bioluminescent plankton swim.

We don’t follow exactly the same route every day. Our crew chooses the order of stops based on the weather, sea conditions and how busy different areas are, so we can find the best and calmest places to swim, snorkel and enjoy the islands that day.

Want to know exactly what the day is like? Read our hour-by-hour guide to the Krabi Sunset Cruise, written with insights from our lead guide Michael.

Pregnant guests are welcome aboard our Sunset Cruise. Our traditional wooden Siamese junk boat is large and spacious, offering a very different experience from travelling between the islands by speedboat.

However, every pregnancy is different, and getting to and from the main boat involves a transfer by long-tail boat. We recommend considering your own circumstances and seeking medical advice before booking if you’re unsure whether the trip is suitable for you.

Please also be aware that our tour insurance does not provide pregnancy cover, so you will need to ensure you have appropriate personal travel insurance.

Yes. There is no minimum age for our Sunset Cruise, and we regularly welcome families with children aboard.

Children can enjoy the beaches, swimming, snorkelling, paddleboarding and kayaking, or simply spend time on the boat. There is plenty of space on board, with both sunny and shaded areas, and life jackets are provided.

Children aged 4 to 12 receive our child rate, while infants aged 0 to 3 can join the cruise free of charge.

ntent

Alcoholic drinks and cocktails aren’t included in the tour price but are available to purchase from our onboard bar.

You can cancel your Sunset Cruise free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled tour start time.

If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure are subject to our booking terms and conditions.

Depending on the conditions and route on the day, guests can go ashore at Chicken Island or Poda Island.

However, guests that don’t want to visit the beach are welcome to spend the whole tour snorkelling, swimming or just enjoy the scenery from the boat.

We need a minimum of eight guests for our public Sunset Cruise to operate.

If we don’t reach the minimum number for your chosen date, we’ll let you know and offer you the option to move your booking to another available date or receive a full refund. We’ll always try to give you as much notice as possible so you can adjust your plans while you’re in Krabi.
